Seoul Garden at KL Festival City Mall

On Saturday my dear asked me where i want to go for lunch since he wanted to spend me. He suggest we eat at Seoul Garden since it has been long time we didn't eat those barbecue. Since he knew i love those wrapped barbecue beef in vegie style. Since it's already lunch time so i didn't want to go to One Utama even though it's the nearest and opted for KL Festival instead. Cause i think there will be less person there. 

So we went and he pay around Rm78 something for both of us. 

The verdict : I think i'll quit going to Seoul Garden cause the quality has deteriorated a lot. I think the beef was low quality since it's hard to chew on. There also not a lot of variety. Only 2 style of marinated beef which is with curry powder i think ( i hate it) and the other one black pepper (okla). Then other stuff just chicken, prawns - normal white type, and my dear took squid. I saw some cockles and ect ect la. Melaka Seoul Garden was the best that i've been to and that was last year i think. This year don know la since they like to change kan..

Monthly Gathering - Kaki Bising Eating Steamboat

I guess it has turn into monthly gathering for us at Festival City Mall. Yesterday nite we went there for a little dinner and chit chatting. This time we ate at Ketam Village Steamboat. Honestly, it's my fav and last time i always went to their branch in Desa Parkcity, Menjalara cause quite near to me. 

Yesterday Nurul was fasting so she got to choose the place and she pick this. It's ok for me cause i love it here and we like spicy food ( except for Zura). We got there around 6 plus and after prayer went to eat. 

My kasut baru..got it for a steal at RM19.90 there..

We took 2 person set around Rm38 i think then i add rice, Nurul's mushroom and Zura with Vege Balls. With my hot Chinese Tea, Fresh Orange for Nurul and Apple for Zura our total bill were RM 68.75 only. 

Anyway as Wangsa Maju is our meet point and i don't really like Wangsa Walk so i think Festival City Mall kind a rocks for our meeting place. It's near and it's easy for me to park my car and we saw they got movie theatre as well. So maybe we'll hang out next time to watch movie.  

Bbq and Steamboat Kuang, Sg Buluh

I cannot tell you how lucky we are to live in Kepong area. We are near to every major area where good eatery place was compulsory. So the places we headed to try out food is not too far until you have to burn petrol money. This time i went with my buddies to try out some Malay based Bbq Steamboat. Since we have tried one in Selayang ^^ . 

The Verdict : I think this particular place has been featured in several TV program but sadly it's not as good as it has been said. The meat was totally out since it is hard to chew but the marination was quite ok. So second time around we totally doesn't take meat. We focused on chicken and prawns.. the sauce were normal but Pojie ( my buddy) said the barbecue sauce quite nice..for me it's just normal.. but the Tom yam soup was nice.. better than usual found in buffet steamboat style place ( but not better than Ketam Village Steamboat k..that one was marvelous, really spicy ).. the vegetables were scarce, with only a selection between Sawi and Kangkung.. so i suggest Asapanas Bistro Selayang rather than here for the same price..Per head is Rm 20 here..

Want to go ? Just take a straight road - village road k- towards Sg Buluh and wait for a sign board saying Kuang. You have to take turn on the traffic light..

Thai All You Can Eat Steamboat/Barbecue at Pandan Indah

Yesterday we went to see my friends in Pandan Indah and end up eating at this Barbecue/Steamboat Thai All You Can Eat. It's Rm22 if you only choose Steamboat whereas both will cost you Rm27.

We take both. Drinks have to be paid separated and mine you the cheapest would be water Rm1 and Thai Tea ( stupid name since it's just Chinese Tea rm0.50 at normal Chinese restaurant) cost Rm1 also. 

Anyway for 5 adults my friends paid around Rm141++..and let me tell you avoid going here. I don't know why there's a lot of person since the food just sucks.. you have to wonder how bad it is since it's barbecue man..but let me tell you i don't know how marinated can be this bad..i end up stomach ache and my BFF got diarrhea afterwards.. ha ha..so not worth it..

Desa Parkcity Steamboat

One of our most frequent place cause it's near and it's pretty there. There's a lake with fishes and also eatery. So it's like a lepak point also la. This steamboat not buffet but the Tom Yam soup really good. And they even supply you with home made sauce which you can add to your soup if you want it spicier than it has been.. but i warn you if you're just a sissy eater than don't even think of looking at the extra sauce provided in the small jar. Well since i am pretty much a hard core in spicy-nest ( same like my dear friend there) we add up quite a big glop on our soup and also as sauce.

So the price is quite expensive for steamboat..we take one person set and add up another soup for Rm2. I don't really eat a lot on steamboat so we still came out full. I have tried the beef set, the fish set also kind a nice. I like the fish. Anyway even for 2 person taking the total bil would be around Rm40+. But as long as the taste nice and fresh i have no objection against it and it's always pack even on weekdays night. 

Anyway this is another eating out spot i would like to introduce to you all..

Flaming Steamboat Buffet Setapak

Actually i'm in the middle of doing my project but then i open up my email and seen this deal. And i am anxious to share my experience here. We went there during fasting month and let me tell you, there's a lot of person. Luckily we booked our place. The variety is wide and we really satisfied cause beside steamboat they also got a lot of side dishes which will make you full. All You Can Eat place will have this tactics since they want to make you full.

So there's desert bar with ice cream, kuih muih, self service drink and ABC and also heavy stuff like spaghetti, mee and some nuggets and so on..
