Pulau Pangkor - Day 3

The last day of our wonderful time here.. we just wake up early in the morning again..take our breakfast at the inn and went for the beach..

We stayed there swimming, taking couple of photos and gets back to the Inn.. around 11 a.m we already ready to leave this place..

So a couple of photos on our chalet..

Pulau Pangkor Round The Island - Day 2

We are so ready to conquer the Island after breakfast. So we took the scooter and started our journey. Honestly i am a bit skeptical cause the last time i touched a scooter was over 3 to 4 years ago. And i never ever bring someone else also. It was the first but we made it. At first we headed to town since the tank kinda empty. We were crossing our finger and hope we make it and we made it. After that we were following the sign board to the Dutch Fort located in Kg Teluk Gedong. It's not much really and i'm not really into historic things like that. I rather be at the beach.

Anyway after around 15minutes we left and headed to Teluk Ketapang. It's just along the way back to Teluk Nipah. We plan to jump into the sea and i'm the only one jumping my feet out of the water.

Warning guys : there's a reason why the beach deserted - it is full of small sea urchin with pointy needles. I learn it the hard way. Got my feet pricked with it. It was painful a bit and the good part it my dear was saved by my foolishness.  While he was chasing a crab i am jumping with one feet up.

So we packed up and dress up and ride our scooter to Teluk Nipah..actually we went over Teluk Nipah until Teluk Dalam..and damn.. Teluk Nipah is the best place to stay for me..

Pulau Pangkor - Day 2

 

Hi ya! Sorry for late continuation on my story cause i caught a cold and resting my butt off so no internet for me on weekend even at house. Luckily i got my dear taking care of me and we went back hometown also so i got all the best treatment and love there is.. sighh.. i think having good family is the best thing in the world ;)

Anyway Day 2 starting with us waking up at dawn and having a hot shower-not me- and going for a morning walk at the beach. So, gear up with swimming suit inside we went for the beach. It was really a nice feeling having a walk together and then i think we went for a dip - did us - i can't remember..he he..anyway around 8 a.m we went back to our chalet for breakfast. They have a nice simple buffet breakfast for patrons for a really cheap price of RM5 per person. Ok, let me remind u again i stayed in Ombak Inn Chalet.

 Basically what they offer..day 3 got more stuff such as mee goreng and salad..

Their Nasi Lemak was awesome. I took it 2 times..they have coffee, tea and orange juice. My dear prefer western style so he took bread, scramble egg and cocktail sausages. Hey for RM5 per person it's really over the top already. Anyway the price only for person staying there. 

Anyway see the 2 motorcycle helmets. That's what we were doing after full of breakfast. Round the island trip. We rent a scooter for a day with the owner which cost us RM40..ka-ching..ka-ching..

Since my darling don't really knew how to operate this scooter then it's up to me the one with kopi-o license to drive..he he..

Pulau Pangkor - Day 1

Honestly it was a last minute decision since out month long plan to Cherating got to be cancelled because of the flooding. So sad since already booked the hotel and already plan where to eat.

Anyway just imagine our trip in the middle of super peak season and having to try to get another accommodation. It was daunting to say at least. At last we got a nice chalet in Teluk Nipah but instead of 4 days 3 night as earlier plan we have to cut short it to 3 days 2 night only..sob sob..since there's no empty room on Saturday 29.12.2012.. 

So early morning around 8a.m after breakfast on 30th Dec 2012 we drove using the old road Kuala Selangor to Lumut. Around 10 something we arrived and park our car inside a building and rush to get the Ferry ticket. I am so excited cause it's the first time i went to Pangkor even though my mom's hometown really near and we went to Teluk Batik a lot. 

Anyway Ferry Ticket for 2 person = RM20 ( Lumut-Pangkor-Lumut)

We were really lucky cause we got the white Ferry which has it's deck open for passenger and that's where we stayed around 30 minutes ferry ride to Pulau Pangkor. With wind on our face..

It was so syiok! 

When we arrived at the Jetty we straightly found our ride..the pink van taxi which cost us RM15 to Teluk Nipah. Please ignore all those vehicles they offer there for rent cause it's expensive. 

The taxi driver point us to our chalet which by the way is so lovely ;)

Ombak Inn Chalet - Peak rate for standard chalet should be RM150 but i manage to get RM120..so ka-ching, ka-ching for 3 days 2 night RM240.. thanks to Puan Nani giving me the special price ;)

It was rated no 2 in Trip Advisor for really good treatment from the owner and i can tell you that the Chalet itself was really nice. The ambiance and basic amenities such as Ice Box , Air Cond and Hot Water bath included. So worth the price and the Chalet just 2 minutes walk to the beach. For your info all the chalets in Teluk Nipah are across the street from beach. And we were lucky to get Ombak Inn since it's not further inside that we had to walk far for the beach. 

After putting down our stuff we change into swimming suits and headed for lunch and beach. Their eateries really besides the beach only. So first day we eat simple Chicken Rice for both of us plus water and those fried fish balls RM14 something. 

Full already we just walk on the beach and swim until evening.. so relaxing.. i'll continue on our dinner on the next post ya..xoxo

Guess where I'm writing from..Pulau Pangkor!

We're here in Pangkor Island. Celebrating the New Year  here and having a water blast everyday. Wow, it hurts my body going into sea so often but i just loves it. And the weather is just nice. Yesterday it's hot and cloudy and today it's drizzling a bit in the evening. 

We were riding a motorcycle around the island and walking along the beach pretty a lot. I can barely feel my leg..ha ha..

Anyway let's save my journey for until i return from this fun-tastic vacation..xoxo
