Hadramawt - Yemeni and Arabian Food

Last Saturday after my dear finish work we went to eat at Hadramawt Restaurant, Chulan Square..just behind Pavilion Shopping Complex actually since after that we just walk getting there.. Parking behind it cost Rm5 flat rate..

We loves eating Arabian Food or Morrocon or whatever in circle there and usually we went to Tajine Restaurant. But that day we want to eat some place new and my colleague has been bragging about this place for quite some time. 

The place was nice..the deco sort of fancy and formal..like a standard dining house whereas our favorite Tajine feel homely and comfy..sighhh.. anyway the waiter was nice and handsome too..ha ha..and we had our lunch served in a jiffy starting with our starter...a SALAD for each of us..

It's really healthy since it doesn't use Thousand Island sauce..he he i think they drop some lemon in here..but  it does taste nice

Our next course Mendy Lamb and some kind of soup..i think they come together..the portion quite small compare to Tajine but the taste quite ok..i like the sauce mainly and the soup also quite good.. Mendy lamb Rm22

 Finish eating then came our desert ..

Mint Tea - their signature ..even when we went to Tajine we will order i pot of this..really nice.. and that was some kind of their sweet cakes..we kinda just got this so i don't know the price..he he

Anyway our rendezvous today does end up with a full belly and a happy tug of good food..but we still vote for Tajine more..after that we walked to Pavilion..

Tajine Restaurant Bukit Bintang

As i told in my last post on Sawarabina Cafe, Tasik Titiwangsa , both me and him prefer Tajine more in terms of Arabian/Lebanon cuisine. And anywhere you go for these type of food you will be force to share your plate with a second person. The portion is too much for me. So i had to ask for another plate. We ordered Mandi Lamb which by the way just like a Briyani dish and you got a soup with it. Rich soup and quite tasty. The price for this as i'm not wrong is Rm23 or Rm26..below Rm30. Then we ordered Super Mixed Grilled which got Chicken, Lamb, Fries and i think got lamb cutlet priced at Rm 30++. Anyhow it's worth it for both of us. Then we drink Moroccan Mint Tea which cost Rm10 per pot.

Overall our bill was Rm 80something. Anyway silly me for not remembering the price but anyhow as i said it's quite worth it in terms of the taste and environment. It's in Bukit Bintang and you can't expect it to be cheap moreover when you were dishing in a fancy restaurant ;) anyway i should recommend you all to try The Ship ( i had taken a picture in front of The Ship, Penang too ) in Bukit Bintang as well as it is known as the best amongst it's outlet.   

The Ship Penang and it's really a ship ..ha ha..taken when i'm working outstation + holiday ( sure take advantage la ..ha ha)

Sawarabina Cafe,Tasik Titiwangsa

We've been here for Zura's birthday celebration on 6.9.2011..Wan actually suggested this place as we are totally lost on where to celebrate our special girl birthday..he he..so we went there to try on Arabian dishes. Personally me and bb got our special place in Bukit Bintang which we go when we feel like eating those eastern cuisine ;) but what the heck..just try on new stuff one in a while doesn't hurt, right..

Ok the birthday girl with her cake.. and that was our food. Wan already ordered for us.. Chicken Briyani and also Lamb Briyani since we was late. Ok, the food were so so and it's not really kick or tasty. It's just ok for me. I think people come here for it's environment and the open air concept at the Titiwangsa Lake just sold them out. Not for the food though..

Anyway like i always said i often enjoy the company even when the food is bad and anyhow at least i got to try a lot of places and i can tell people that i've been to so many places and try many things..that is life isn't it..excitement and interesting..i want to enjoy it and i pity someone who doesn't got to try anything because they aim for something absurd and just hurting themself ..and also live in denial..that just so pathetic right..so you guys just live life and enjoy it to the fullest..xoxo
