What A Life..

I was browsing through Facebook and seeing my friends going everywhere..seeing them enjoying their life with traveling here and overseas.. meeting up friends and do some activities together and i am glad to say that i am not left behind on this.. 

I have enjoyed my life and because of that i am happy and proud about it..at least i can tell people i have taken flights, i have stayed in hotels and have travel almost all of Malaysia and planning on going abroad ;) 

I will look at my friends activities and smile cause i had fun also instead of being nothing and doing nothing..and that's why i guess we have to enjoy our younger times so that when we get older we won't be sorry with what we have now and what we should have done..

So guys and gurls..if you're still young my advice is " Enjoy It "..go on holidays, travel, do stuff like climbing, hiking..go places you've never been, being crazy with friends and earn big bucks so you won't feel sorry for your life later on.. and study..get in to college, get yourself a dip or degree so people will respect you !! 

Life isn't fair and it sometimes sucks..but if we earn money that doesn't matter cause we can make our worlds better our self ;) xo xo..

New place in town..yup..we went there for lunch since we ought to try new place in Sri Damansara..it's on the upper floor of building in the same row of Group Base Restaurant. 

The portion is not so big but the tastes were there. I actually love it. They basically operated  like a cafe. There's open concept balcony where you can drink coffee while chit chatting with friends. They also got menu for student for just Rm5..

They made their own cakes which you can purchase here at Rm60..any cakes..you can enjoy slices of it..maybe next time i'll hang out and drink coffee here ;) 

It's owned by Malays so don't scared to try their food guys..

Bread Butter Pudding and Spaghetti

Last weekend i was so enthusiastic on cooking and it has been so long that i wanna try making this Butter Bread Pudding. Overall i can say i manage to nail it..he he..it's so easy and i always love this desert which usually eaten with ice cream or cream custard ( i vote for ice cream)..but sadly we can't get our hand on vanilla ice cream so we just eat it with milk..duhh..

My Recipe
 
Bread - half from the big bundle
Butter
Fresh Milk
3 Eggs
Custard Flour
Vanilla Essence

Soak bread which had been spread with butter into fresh milk.. beat eggs + a bit of Custard Flour + Essence of Vanilla..then put the bread onto cake's pan/mould then just pour the batter onto it..then put it in oven for 30 minutes.. it's really nice eating it hot..with ice cream...yummy..

Then i made Spaghetti..hmm it's my dear recipe actually but i totally blew it. It's still tastes really good since my bro took another servings..he he..anyway it's pretty easy also..but it's a secret recipe ;)

Facebook - Good or Bad ?

Just the other day i had a talk with my dear about this cause i was a tad bit complaining bout my lovely friends habit when we were out for yam cha.. they take out all their fancy phones or ipad and started facebook-ing . I'm actually ok if they just check in ( they always do) saying we are here right now with ya da ya da..but i am not comfortable when they actually buried them self into the device and started to spent time with their facebook friends. 

We were like in front of each other but not talking and you know what's funny..we were commenting on each other on Facebook when we were just face to face.. i see a lot of families also like that nowadays when we went out to eat. Since now almost everywhere is a free Wifi Zone it gets worse. Communication become rare even when we sit at the same table. Same like sports we forgotten when kids nowadays prefer play station ( like a necessity-my bro got 1) and x-box..

So when people said Facebook is bad, i agree and not agree.. everything got pro and cons and you can't blame on Facebook when it's your finger who types, right! The good ness of facebook were you are connected with long lost friends and relatives, knew where to dine and see a lot of places through your friends eyes..  if wrongly used, relationship will cracked, time wasted and ect ect.. 

Use Facebook smartly..take a little time there and a lot of times doing other stuff like going out with friends, hanging out with families and finished up your works before you Facebook ;) be responsible upon yourself cause no one can do harm to you other than you!

Safe House

Yesterday night we went out for dinner and a movie. Even though there's no exciting movie we wish to see we just choose one of it. And we watched Safe House since the actors were A listed and it's an action pack. Nothing wrong with an actions pack movie except that lots of person dying.

Anyway it's not a truly good movie but at least they got a lot of actions going on. Denzel played a CIA agent who betrayed the country and sold info to various countries. He was the most wanted and the most dangerous agents there was. He invented the manual for CIA's interrogation and he's really good in what he do. The file that he got recently was a file showing corrupted agents from all agencies such as CIA, MI6 and so on.. so a lot of person trying to kill him to get that info back. No choice he walks into US Embassy and got caught.

So like usual la there's the mole in the ops and the safe house was breach. Where Ryan Reynolds the house keeper trying to save him and bring him in alive to prove himself. In the end they form some sort of bond but he died in the end..

Hmm such a normal plot..where there's a lot of same movies out there..so the verdict : just for passing time can la go watch. If not better don't waste money la..anyway i have no qualms since yours truly belanja me..he he

Valentine's Day - A Day to Show Your Love

There's a big debate every year when Valentine's neared..whether to celebrate or not for Islams.. for me i don't celebrate this occasion like going for candle light dinner or what so ever but occasionally i do sent present or received present in return. 

I know some would said that we should not..period..celebrate or even mention this day cause it's honoring one or more early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine. But we can celebrate the day as a special day to show we care our loves one. Not only our lover but also friends and family. It's all about pure love not lust. If you think like that then it's ok to celebrate this day as you celebrated a lot of other festivals. 

In the end no matter what your race, religion and status..as long as you celebrated an occasion or festival within your own moral values and ethics it would just be fine. There's no need to make a big deal out of it..anyway it's just another day in your life..and believe me if you want to do bad things you would do it no matter what days it is..isn't it..so what's the fuss ..

A person was made from their habits and behavior not what religion they are in or what race they are..or what occasion they celebrated..they just that..a model of their own mind..

Yesterday we went and eat at Hartz Chicken at Sunway Pyramid again. Cause i bought Jigocity deal and it was a really good deal cause they gave another coupon for next visit worth Rm18 (40% off)..yeay..

Even thought i'm not celebrating Valentine's ( kinda odd since i celebrate most festivals..he he) but yours truly gave me a necklace since i told him i need new one after i gave mine to him. So he's been so sweet and surprised me with this one. Owww..yup darling i love it..don't ask anymore k..i like it..la la la..

You Know What I Hate ?

1. People lied to me

2. People who are not punctual or always late.

3. Someone who said one thing and do the other.

4. The third person in a relationship who don't know where she stands and keep bugging me.

5. A person who made a mistake and still hasn't learn anything..

There's such person in this world and they really like to say things they doesn't meant to do. They cheated, they created stories and they made like they are the victims when instead it's the life they choose after they knew what's the truth are. 

I hated a person who already made a mistake and keep doing it..

Q Sushi One Utama

 

We went to eat here shortly after Old Asia Cafe because that person still felt hungry. It's like a one stop Sushi Center. Upper level in the middle of One Utama. I don't really recommend sushi lovers for this one. The Shoyu really salty, which what i hated most whenever i went out eating Japanese. I hated those salty shoyu. It's like eating a cheap ketchup with wasabi.. the expensive Japanese buffet  in One Utama ( is it Jogoya..not sure but you can eat not only sushi but oriental food buffet here) also use a salty ketchup more or less like this one. I remember that time i only eat a little even though had paid around Rm60++ per person. 

Sushi here just normal..i tried the maki but i don't seem to like it since it's kind a hard. Like something you cook then you left it aside making it's outer part felt hard.  Like that la the feeling. Salmon Maki quite bigger than normal size Rm5..assorted Sushi Rm2.50.. Ours bill for that day Rm22 inclusive water..just bring your own, it's not worth to buy here..they just gave you Pokka for Chill Green tea and it cost Rm4..duhh..

After One Utama we go to Mon't Kiara walking around..wrong?? ..we went to Tesco first trying to see if any movie worth watching..nothing..so we went to Mont Kiara and there's a new shopping complex where got a lot of places to eat..we saw Las Vacas next to our favorite ice cream ( going to try next time..he he) and then we went to Soho Mont Kiara to chill out..such a full day out yesterday..and fully stomach i had now..hu hu...

Yesterday we went out for food hunting..again..my stomach getting big already..hu hu.. anyway we walk around with me wearing my Angry Bird shirt and selipar jepun ( later he bought me a pair of heels..ha ha), i just don't know we're going to One Utama or i'll wear my pretty pretty dresses la..

Anyway after one big round looking for shoes to buy and places to eat, we settle down for this one since there's a lot on the menu..he actually wanted to try Japanese Food..again..sighh..Old Asia Cafe at LG level next to Sushi Zanmai and Kenny Rogers or is it that peri-peri chicken..can't remember but it's side by side with the diving center..

Anyway the food were pretty decent..not too good until i want to come back but ok enough to make yourself full..obviously he did not since later we went to try Q Sushi at upper level. The Soda Mint Herbs really good..other than that i can't say more..prawn on Sang Har Mee quite big..that's all ..

Price : For 2 person ( ours was set lunch i think) around Rm50.20 kua..i don't pay so i don't pay attention also.. he he..

Thaipusam Another Holiday for Malaysian

Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February).The word Thaipusam is derived from the month name Thai and Pusam, which refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel "spear" so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadam.

Kavadi Attam is a dance performed by the devotees during the ceremonial worship of Murugan, the Tamil God of War. It is often performed during the festival of Thaipusam and emphasizes debt bondage. The Kavadi itself is a physical burden through which the devotees implore for help from the God Murugan.

During this time Bt Caves will be very alive and jammed because of the devotees coming in to pray and to join in the festival..

Langkawi Island Day 2 - Dinner at Boutique Cafe, Pantai Cenang

It was actually fine dining. Course by course but we are so hungry at that moment that we asked them to bring it all out..there were actually a lot more than shown above. We got Crab, Squid, Prawn in Butter, Honey Lemon Chicken and we got that Lobster, Fish and there's the appetizer ( sort like cocktail prawn) and there's the Sorbet i vanquished before i remember to take the picture ( hey, i was so hungry)..

Overall the food were fresh but the cooking just sucks..we don't really like our food..but the lobster was finished pretty quickly..ha ha ..overall i don't recommend anyone to eat at this Restaurant..

There's Oriental Village where they sell cheap hats..just Rm9.90 for the pretty hat..there's also Rabbit Farm and Dear Farm where you can feed them yourself..just buy Rm 1 food and they come running at you..i had an episode of Zombie Animals here..duhh

Pantai Pasir Hitam (Black Sand Beach)

 

It's a very enchanting beach.clear water and some black mineral at his sand thus the name of Black Sand Beach..not a  popular place to bath here..just sight seeing but you can always jump if you want to..

Melaka Town

Just come back from town. Wow really jammed. That's why i hated going to town on weekend or when i got back from kl..it's just the worse. It's really a bless that i know short cut and back way to get outta town. 

When holiday or weekend sure tourists ( inside and outside) flocking the Banda Hilir there. Frustrated..i don't even know that Mahkota Parade (MP) changes faces already.

Anyway we spent a great deal of time in town and we even went for Karaoke at the MP and it's quite cheap. In Box Karaoke..we took big Room for an hour at Rm20 only. Surely the selection was oldies but the sound kind of nice..

Bangsar Village Shopping Mall

Well another place to cross from my list. Yeah before yesterday nite i never been to Bangsar Village Shopping I and II.. We went around almost 3 times looking for parking and after a while found one quite far and on a yellow lines. We were pretty lucky cause soon after we finished our tour, the ticket being issued to the car in front of us. Luckily we don't choose to eat over there. It was pretty at night with all the lights and still in the mood for Chinese New Year..overall if you are a high end buyer then you'll enjoy this place immensely. If you're like me who like street shopping then you'll be disappointed.. i guess it was a shopping heaven on weekend only.. even though felt disappointed but at least i can cross this off my going to shopping complexes ;)

Langkawi Island Day 2 - Galeri Perdana

Galeri Perdana situated just next to Kilim Geoforest Park entrance. To go in there's an entrance fee and if you would like to take picture purchase a ticket for your camera too. 

Basically this gallery is like a museum for our late Prime Minister Dato' Sri Dr Mahathir Muhamad. All tokens of appreciations from world leaders or nations can be seen here. It's like a history on Malaysia Social standing when the late prime minister hold this country.

It's a very big 2 building gallery and it was pretty educational. One of many places to visit if you like to learn about Malaysians..

Hokkien New Year

Chinese New Year is a fifteen day celebration. Hokkien New Year is celebrated on the 9th day of Chinese New Year. For Hokkiens, it is celebrated with more grandeur compared to the 1st day. This is because the Hokkiens were in hiding for the first eight days of Chinese New Year, and only had the chance to celebrate the New Year on the 9th day. The belief is that the Jade Emperor (Thee kong – translated as “king of the heavens”) protected our Hokkien ancestors from being caught, which is why we offer thanksgiving prayers to him.

Although these prayers are traditionally only performed by Hokkiens, more and more non-Hokkien people have started to join in to pray for a good year ahead.

And that's why we heard a lot of fire crackers at night in the middle of Chinese New Year. I often wonder and my dear had lighten me up on this. A lot of Malays or other races doesn't realize about this also. So, this is me sharing what i knew about Chinese Customs.

Seoul Garden One Utama

 Kimchi

Have you watch "My Girlfriend is Gumiho" a korean movie..you will feel like Mi ho..eating barbecue beef..a lot of it. You can also do it korean style like me..wrap it in the vegie, put some chillies and eat it.. yummy..

It's all you can eat barbecue and since we went yesterday on weekdays for lunch the charges are different. Our bill for 2 adult Rm71.60..inclusive tax..for drink u have to pay separately..here i already inclusive it already..Free flow drink around Rm3.99 i think. 

All and all it's just another All You Can Eat buffet with Kimchi + Veggies + like any other all you can eat buffet menu. You can find Seoul Garden at LG Floor at the rainforest.
