The Darkest Hour

I know a lot of person will go out today and hit the cinema. There's not a lot of good movie this month. I've seen Mission Impossible and Sherlock Holmes and it's a good movie for me. Last night we went and catch The Darkest Hour coz yours truly think it's a nice movie to watch since the footage seeing on advertisement kind of cool. But then it's just like B movie only. 

Yeah it got actions but where's the plot of the story. Until last also we won't know if there's any mother ship of alien or where they are from. Even their look also just a glimpse given. Overall i felt like lost on the whole movie thing. It's absolutely The Darkest Hour for my dear cause paying the damn ticket.. ha ha

Shackled to The Toilet

Nowadays Facebook is one of medium that give us a glance at the important news in our country. For someone like me who hated to read papers ( coz a lot of rubbish in it) other than to see cartoons and sales then to see interesting headlines on specific news will do.

There's a lot of pressure coming in for families and person  with the economic downturn and with higher prices of goods. Recently i felt the heat from it when i went to buy wet stuff to cook for Dongzhi Festive. Just imagine if myself who got better income than average people with no apparent burden such as mortgage and debts end up feeling rather hard about the prices. How would middle income family who got a lot on their plates feels then ?

I know there will be a lot of sides who will take this chance to go forward and blame this guy for shackling his kids. But what if you got no other choice in securing your child's life. What if it's true that these 2 kids are really naughty and his father afraid they would hurt them self while  he's away for a job that suppose to feed them.

I'm not saying i agreed with his method though, but sometimes we can't judge right..we do not live in his life so we don't know how he's suffering.. last time our parents hit us as punishment when we do wrongful stuff and we remember it as lesson learn..but nowadays when parent punish their children for their sake, the children will tell that they're being abused.. that's why we can see younger generation more weaker, morally lacking and easily dismissing their parents..

Just remember how many teenagers running away from their house and make it to the paper.. the 2 Indians boys..the Chinese girls..the Malays also..and when they came back instead of lashing out and punish them, the parents hugging them and crying...

I've been hit by belt and hanger when i'm small to teach me of respect and my mistake ( they never hug me after that, just left me to think of my mistake)..and strokes of Rotan from my teacher for not completing assignment or being naughty.. i don't resent them ( yeah, afraid sometimes) and i am thankful cause they taught me if i do bad thing, i should be ready for the consequences as well ..

So, don't judge this father if you only read the news and do not know about him at all..give equal chances to people even when they make mistakes..there's a lot of undue influence making this stuff happen isn't it..you can blame government for the increasing price of daily items making this father have to work hard, you can blame his employer for giving him a small salary making him unable to afford baby sitter and you can blame his wife for leaving him with the kids..

You can blame everybody for one mistake..but in the end how you going to solve it what's matter..

Uitm Melaka Protest Non-Bumiputra Intake

I'm not saying i'm into politics or taking part in any protest by posting my opinion on this. It's just i'm a by product of Uitm itself even though my Campus is much more strict and i would like to say better than Melaka Campus..ha ha don't get cooked up k guys..

First of all i'm opposing this protest because for me a lot of stuff you should put in fate's hand. When you're protesting an issue like this you open up a channel for other races to scorn Bumiputera/ Malays at large. And i can guaranteed that not all Malays share the notion of this protest. I mean let's face it..the harder we were push to the wall, the better we will survive and evolve. But if we kept on being feed, we'll become lazy and never move on to work it better. 

Let's just seen other nations..example America.. their tax is high, expenses also high and their pay also high..see how many invention they made, how many scholars and intelligent people came from America..because they got so intense competition..if you fail to be the best than you'll be the last..no one waits for you and no one will change the educations schemes so you can pass and the ratings of pass students will be higher..non..no such things..they set the parameters high and expect you to work on it..

Then Japan..they work so schematic and hard..you'll see how that islands, volcanic, soft peoples can invent a lot of stuff and set their status high up with other big nations. Why can they do that and not us? What we don't have that they do?

The answer is they have to compete to be the best..If there's competition than people will trying harder to overcome the other party in a healthy ways. Same as if Uitm opening their doors to other. Then competition will be created thus making sure that only the best, smart, hardworking and quality people will be enroll. 

This will ensure higher standard of education, peoples and country as a whole..wouldn't it be better..

Last time peoples will be proud to be chosen into a University but nowadays they rather choose Colleges because of the higher standard since they normally follows International standard. Work together as one nation and we'll strive higher but if one race continues to resent each other then how we going to stay in one boat and still afloat.. think about it..

I've been to this area only for Christmas but it's still such a joy to me..i love colorful things and environment..you can't help feeling happy to see all those beautiful colors  and Christmas is the most colorful day of all..

So there you are my fully enjoyable Christmas this year..I've been to The Curve, Ikea and Cineleisure and then the other day went to One Utama.. We've ate , took pictures, saw movie and walk around the mall..

Sherlock Holmes 2 - The Game of Shadows

Awesome!

Last night after done strolling One Utama the whole day we went for a movie. I love Sherlock Holmes..i've read almost all his book that i can get my hand to..but the first movie really sucks..and truthfully i don't have higher expectation for this one..

But wonder oh wonder..it turns out to be a good movie..love it ..even thought if you read the books you'll get the impression of Sherlock to be cool man ( not erratic like Robert portrayed him to be)  and Dr.Watson more like an old wise man with belly not a crazy like Jude Law ( i loves Jude Law..so handsome)..but anyway movie should be fun so people will see it right..when you read the books it's your own imagination playing.. 

Overall it was nice effects, nice actions and nice acting.. i'll certainly buy the DVD and see it again..

Little Taiwan - One Utama

It's more of a Franchise and like any other Franchise you'll be taught how to cook but it will depend on the particular /learner talent to make it good. Before we take a seat one of the waiter told us the food will serve in 15 to 20 minutes. And we said ok since we were practically hungry and after all that jam and trying to find parking spot, we need refueling before  get on to business..ha ha..so this was the closer to our entered door..

First they give you the menu and a sheet to fill in your order.Just like Old Town White Coffee ( I love Old Town) and they leave us alone..yesterday was quite hectic with the Christmas holiday and all and it's hard to catch the waitress eyes once we done. The drink quite pricey starting from Rm3.90 to Rm8.90 ( they like the 90 cent..duhh) and i ordered Honey Lemon Jasmine Tea ( Rm4.90 ) and Shaved Ice (Rm8.90) with everything for my companion..

The shaved ice i think the main satisfaction in this dine out. See those white ball..it will pop in your mouth and there will be some kind of liquid in it. Taste like lychee but then my taste buds not the best after i drank my Honey Lemon Jasmine Tea which short of awful.

Next to arrived was Hot Ramen..it's hot, spicy and big..the bowl was quite big with the tag price of Rm10.90 ( around that).. It's actually nice..

After around half an hour or so..i'm actually starting to walk out..only my order come..Braised Beef Shank Set Rm 16.90.. It's awful and not good.. the beef came cold even though you'll see it on a hot plate.. i guess i enjoy they tiny salad more than the main course.. and i don't finished it..that's yours truly job i'm afraid..huhu..anyway it's really a waste and disappointment.. 

Overall i will not enter this restaurant again unless to eat their shaved ice..

Dongzhi Festival - Winter Solstice

The Dong Zhi (冬至) or Winter Solstice Festival is one of the most significant festivals celebrated by the Chinese and many other East Asian nations. It's the day to eat Tangyuan too.  Yesterday was the first time i did it..so funny since i never even taste it. But then everything is in Google nowadays. And a little bit info on how he like it, then the end result..ok, i forgot to take the picture earlier..so that is the picture of finished Tangyuan.. ha ha..at least my first try being appreciated..

I've done the Tangyuan with Ginger soup. But as i forgot to put newly cook balls in the hot water instead of straight to the soup, i got it murky instead of clear..duhh..my bad..i forgot the step by step guide of the recipe..

Apart from Tangyuan i cooked ( proudly talk big..hehe) Prawn with chilli, black pepper and sauce..Fried fish..lamb with black pepper and spring onion..sew bak choy ( spelling kinda off).. mushroom with tofu and rice.. so i got all in except for piggy la.. fish = every years will be lucky, prawn=always laugh, roasted piggy=wealthy, spring onion=clever

Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Last Saturday Night i watched this movie.. i'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise to be honest but what the heck..at least it's an action movie..

The story line kind of normal..where he had to save the world and at the same time only got his team to count on. But there's humor and i the cinema laugh out laud so it's a bonus for not being boring..

Overall i would give it 3 star out of 5..nothing new to see anyway..

Christmas oh Christmas..

I love it.. even thought it's not my festival to celebrate.. and i know before Christmas we will be celebrating Dongzhi Festival..i am such a know it all huh..he he ..it's just i love Christmas..with all those pretty decorations and trees..whereas Dongzhi, lets just say it is one of the important festive in my dear one life..

I haven't had a chance to survey all the malls since i've been busy with functions this few weeks.. but i've seen some awesome pictures of the malls and can't wait to go and see for myself..

So hold on your breath coz i'm gonna bring my Nikon to catch some good pictures..sighh..i hope so ;)

Wedding..

Ding dong bell.. ha ha but Malays wedding full of custom..no bell for us..but there's the "kompang" and "Silat pengantin" ..it's pretty exciting actually..

I don't really like attending any wedding but sometimes you just had to..but i am happy for whoever married for love ..

This weekend it's my bff's wedding..luckily they both done their function on the same weekend..anyway one wedding more to go..hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow..hope you both will be happily ever after..

Malaysian News - Politics and more Politics

I think i have not read newspaper for almost 2 months plus..even if i read it, i'll go straight to the Gadgets section and cartoon section (i just adored Garfield)...

I mean could you see any news that worth our time ? to quench our thirst for real news where we suppose to know what happen to the world, to people of Malaysia instead of having to endure all those political dramas. I mean come on la..you keep on arguing bout the same old stuff again and again..

We know you take the bribe, we know you want to be the reps for the next election and we do know you are everything you say you're not..so just shut the hell up and give way to real news la.. 

Some more have guts to say you've done all the best for Malaysian..but did you see the road i'm traveling everyday got all those potholes.. and i have to pay for expensive daily products..and all those taxes i have to pay even when i went out to eat..arghh..and there's the issue bout the public transport..try to solve that and other issues instead of spending our tax payer money to go on holiday overseas or to buy bigger house than your neighbor..

And then there's those bodies found murdered, shot, mutilated and ect ect.. aiyoo, is Malaysia not safe anymore for us ? on the news, in the paper we'll read about the dead body turns out but never the killer being caught.. and even if the killer been caught, the court would take years for trial which in the end we'll forgot the horrors of the murdered victims..who knows what happen to the convicted, aye..

That's the whole i'm not going to read newspaper and see tv reason for me.. It's just disappointing to fill in your days with horrors of murdered victims and political nonsense and as such i better off not seeing it at all..i guess it's sort of downgrading my social speech to mere ignorance but i'll take that over seeing those annoying things..

I am way back on my reading list..i've been re-reading all time favorites this couple of weeks. And i started getting crazy over what my dear bought for me , Cryptogram Quotes book. It was challenging as hell and i was mulling over it this couple of days and proud to say i've solve a lot of it.

Cryptogram is really sneaky and hard. You have to guess and be really intuitive. And of course patient. They will give you one alphabet and a lot of empty boxes to fill in. It's a sort of mind game that i love. And i'll finish up the entire book and buy a new one..new year resolution..ha ha

Semalam dah cuti..wow weee..3 hari cuti..bulan ni banyak giler cuti..

Oleh kerana company aku ni ikut Selangor ( according to my boss - choose the state with more holiday since we're in the border ) maka banyaklah cuti ihsan dari kerajaan negeri. 

Cuti lama apa lagi..enjoy la..

Minggu depan ni je tak cuti isnin..the next 2 week Christmas dan New Year akan cuti lagi..

Since ni dah dekat hujung tahun banyak meeting yang dibuat..tak termasuk lagi project plan for next year.. a lot of traveling for next year i guess..

Christmas tak lama lagi..yeay..i celebrate all holiday and festival tapi Christmas paling best especially kalau pergi shopping complex around KL ni.. every year aku mesti heret my dear  round several shopping mall yang besar-besar to see their Christmas tree and deco.. Pavilion, One Utama pun cantik and then The Curve.. Mid Valley..ni semua tempat yang biasa aku pergi la time nak Christmas.. 

Even 1 time pernah pergi Genting Highland..wow that is fantastic.. cool environment plus the deco for Christmas..really felt differ and fun..

Anyhow life should be fun..for me!!

Family

What does it means?

They say family stays together no matter what happen.. they say FRIEND will end..but FAMILY will love you forever. But family does tend to have it ups and down..from time to time but always " air di cincang tak akan putus" .. Malays believe in this and thus a lot of us carries happy family..like mine..

I also believe in GENES what's make your family.. i guess just see how many Malays believe in lots of children mean prosperity and see at Chinese who prefer less children cause they don't have time to leave from making their money grow. As a result a lot of Malays in the golden age will relax, lots of children giving money every months, gardening and play with cucu cicit whilst Chinese still work their heart out even when they should be relaxing and enjoy life..

My dad is restless..always doing stuff and always m.i.a..ha ha..

my older bro..i got 2 more bros..

So left us only to went around with my mom..we gone shopping, sight seeing, bowling and ect ect.. my mom is happily a housewife.. and she won't get bored since we put on ASTRO and also cause my niece Sinbei is there to make her tired everyday..and during weekend she always away from house and going somewhere curtsey to my bros..

Anyway, your behavior will always took on from your mom and dad since they are the closes example for you in being a human. 

Agree or not ? I see this a lot..

So, if you coming from snobbish family the percentage of you being one is really huge. And if you hate your mom probably you yourself more or less like her. For those who had good outside influence, friends they may turn out better since they get good example here on but for those who got as bad as influence as they family already are then.. 

So mom and dad..love your child and show them a good example cause your behavior will took on our child afterwards.. if you behave like crack they won't respect you and when you're old you'll be left alone...

Ok..starting

Protective Boyfriend!

I knew..Cliche right..well i just saw one video posted by a friend at Facebook..a video from Youtube.. a boyfriend arguing and ripping his girlfriend bikini( yup,heard me right..bikini ) in a middle of Tv interview and got people filming it. I know that the boyfriend was mad about her showing herself in bikini but then it's her boyfriend who really take the cake by showing her body to the world. 

I mean..man, i realize you're so pissed off but at least show it in the right way..not humiliating your girl friend in front of the whole world..i love protective man..it's what differentiate them from boys.. but be a Daisy will yeah..

There's a lot of plus thing for having a protective boyfriend that i love so much..

1st..you'll feel loves all the time with him protecting you and you'll feel proud of it..

2nd..proud to show to your friend that your boyfriend is so protective of you..no need for you to pretend cause he will unconsciously protect you and care for you since it's his nature..sigh...ahhh

3rd..you can count on him to always be there for you..when he can that is..but he will always be there for you..this is what you like about him..

Don't know it's true or not but there's a lot Malay who dine here also. 

This is all you can eat meat buffet and there's also Salad and other stuff like spaghetti to compliment your meat. And it's like heaven..juicy meat, lamb, chicken and other stuff. I've been begging to come here so long that when we finally come it's like a dream come true..ha ha i know i'm exaggerating a bit now..their barbeque menu consist of..

- Grilled buns with garlic and sour cream
- Roasted pineapple
- Roasted honey chicken ham
- Lamb leg
- Lamb shoulder
- Cow leg
- Prawns
- Fish
- Chicken liver and gizzard

all barbecued.. once you seated after taking stuff from the salad bar they'll come to you.. one by one holding the freshly hot barbecued things..

I love their mint sauce..it's nice and refreshing to eat with the meat..we even ask for more..

If you really want to dine here call them first for reservation cause it's always full..I am certainly going to go here again in near future..just writing this post makes my mouth waters..he he 

Anyway, this restaurant near Atria Shopping Centre.. yeah i guess a lot of bloggerz forget to mention this. It is in the same area..since we got lost going time, i knew the feeling..if only they told you it's near Atria Shopping Centre and in the corner lot..ha ha..
