Walk around TAR & Butik First Lady

11.10.2010
Last nite after work I accompany my friend to buy clothes for her upcoming seminar. She suppose to go on behalf of her superior and she wanted to wear decent clothes there. So we decided to meet up after work and walk around. We have 2 choice either going to KL Sentral or Jln TAR and we decide to go to the latter since there will be more places to look. We met each other at around 7 pm and we go to each store who put Baju Kurung at their shop. Personally I like street shopping because you’ll find something differ from shopping complex’s products at reasonable price.
And for someone like me who really always fall in love at first sight, it’s rather a savior to my pocket. As we walk we found a lot of pretty clothes ( I bought one) and bags ( I’m crazy about them and I bought one also) and shoes ( don have enough money to buy..hu hu) and they are cheap, cheap, cheap gurlz.. Baju kurung u can get as low as Rm45 and cotton baju kurung ( a fashion now) at RM65.
I know during Raya time you can get it at RM50 but you can bargain when it’s street shopping. Just don’t be shy about it. It’s fun and you don’t have anything to lose. So at last my friend bought 2 baju kurung at First Lady. It’s cheap and the designs are pretty good. Me myself wanted to buy but don’t have enough money..sob sob sob..
After that we went to eat KFC across the street and went back home.. it’s really nice to go for a walk after work coz it can clear your mind and makes u more relax..

Williams Mamak Hawker's Food Review

 10.10.2010

My trip to Williams at Kelana Jaya was so sudden that we just suicidally go without knowing the proper direction. I just remember Kak Lina told me that it’s close to Plaza Mayang ( which right in front of Williams actually) and it’s got so many people eating there. Yup she was right about so many people eating there but fret not cause they are the only place open there. There one row of seats and I don’t think people have to wait to get table. The service are fast and the foods are in big portion. So for you guys who wanna try it, remember one dish you can share for 2 person and sometimes even 3.

I’m coming from Bandar Utama so I have to make a U-turn when I see the King Crab on my right hand side. So after U-turn I go straight and take the left turn. After that see one traffic light and take left there. Go straight and take right turn and there you can see a hawker tepi jalan stall with a lot of person. It’s not much of environment but where there’s good food there’s sure a hell of lotsa person.

One we were seated, the guys come to take order. There’s no menu and I’m sweating and a bit stunt when they repeatedly asking what we wanna eat. Hey it’s my first time and I donno what they’re good at. That place is like all in one. It’s like several stall combine into one. They got western, Indians, Malay food and many – many food. Yeah they wrote some of it at the black board inside the stall which they say just half of the menu they have.

SO, tell them what your fav things on your mind and they’ll have it. You can also ask them what’s good ( which is silly – of coz they say all ) and they’ll recommend according your choosen type of food. We ate Olio Spaghetti Seafood ( RM30 ) and Nan Cheese ( RM5) and drink Ribena Longan ( RM7). I feel like vomited because it’s a large portion. Luckily I don’t order another dish.

Yup, for hawker’s style of food with no aircond and just cheap table and chair it seem pretty expensive. But after you eat the food you will feel it’s worth every penny. The Seafood Olio Spaghetti really fresh and the seafood are a lot.

They cook the seafood nicely not overcook and just yummy. My nan cheese are so cheesy and big that I have to leave one slice back there. And we both can’t finish the ribena longan because it’s so big and the longan were a lot. It’s like one whole tin of longan inside. There you go. As we can’t eat a lot my review just limited to this dishes. But we will be back to try on new things.
I heard their Manggo Lassi are pretty nice ..hmm
My Second time went there & i bring my friend ;)

Mixed Grilled - I don remember the price but around Rm60/Rm80. Got big prawn, stuffed squids, salmon, crab, ect..really worth the price & can be eaten by at least 4 person.

Yogurt drink - so tasty & the other famous drink is Soda Herb ( must try)

One World Hotel Lunch Buffet

My Boss the front one.. me and my office mate..

Just got back from Lunch Buffet at Cinnamon One World Hotel, Bandar Utama. Since our office quite near and my boss want a convenient place so here we are.. Today ( 12.10 ) are my boss birthday and every year he will lavish on us for lunch. So year before this we ate at Equatorial Hotel, KL but because of the selection has been very bad year after year so he decided that we need a change of place.

After reading some reviews on hotels lunch buffet ( which are rare to find because people normally eat dinner buffet) i narrow it down into 3. Concord ( Jln SUltan Ismail ), Nikko Hotel and Cinnamon One World Hotel. So my boss said, Concord- don't want la , hard to park, Nikko - so far la, One World - okla near some more 5 star, mesti ok.

So at 12 we went there and feast on the food. I mean it's really worth it ( even one person RM72++ , like 80 bucks la) and the arrays of foods are a lot. There are western, japanese ( limited but u can count on the sashimi ), tandoori chicken, satay ( beef, chicken & lamb), 3 types of dim sum, 2 types of pizza, gravy dishes, spaghetti, oyster porridge and their desert was awesome ( hey they got ice cream, chocolate fountain, fruits, ice kacang, yummy cheese, cakes and lotsa lotsa happiness for the sweet tooth) .

There you have it..If u're planning on having a buffet i would recommend Cinnamon. The tastes of food are there and the selection are vast and the services are also satisfying.

So thanks to my boss cause belanja us today for lunch and happy birthday to you. You are the best boss i've ever had =)
