The Museum Restaurant, Kota Damansara - Bad Stuff

This post is for those who bought the deal at Groupon or Milkadeal or whatever for RM25. 4 western main course for 2 person.

Unluckily i bought 2 since i think that for RM25 and with the main menu like that..is it possible to be full? Yup, not only we were not full, the foods also sucks.. Come on la for those restaurant who put yourself on group deals please serve good food cause a lot of people will be buying and it is sort like promotion for your place. If goods we will blog it and introduce it to our friends and family..if not??? all you get is bad reputation cause i'm certainly gonna give you one now..

First to come ...Soup.. Mushroom i think

No taste whatsoever.. 

Secondly..Salad

They gave us one plate of salad 1/4 of cherry tomato (wallaweh) and 1/4 egg with  several leaf of salad and mayonnaise dressing..

Thirdly...main course.. mine Rack of Lamb with Plum Sauce..hubby went for Sirloin

Seriously it's not even rack and the plum sauce taste nothing as well.. not even a hint of sour..duhh

The Sirloin meat was done when my dear asked for medium..and actually you can eat better western and cheaper too at Damansara Damai food court beside the Mc Donalds.. Seriously that one is better..

Fourth..Panna cotta/desert

It's just a jelly nothing..it doesn't taste specific and it's yellow colour.. 

Then we decide to use the other coupon as well since it's sucks anyway..might as well finish it then and there

So we choose other main..mine i took Lamb Ragout and my dear took Duck Breast something la

Both are totally cannot be eaten..The Lamb Ragout was more like a bad Mee Basah/Mee Hailam..taste a bit bitter and the spaghetti totally kembang..and the duck was sweet with orange dressing..we just left it like that..

Truthfully even after 8 course we still going back hungry.. no wonder the restaurant got so little patrons..

Nursery, Diapers & All in Between - Part 1

First time being a mom is really a learning process. You got to experience a lot of first time stuff..like what milk to buy, which diapers to choose and how to pick a nursery if you're a working mother. When Kaka was born i even don't know how to give her milk until the lovely nurse teach me how to..

She's really nice..even teach me to swaddle her. Then there's time i need to buy breast milk pump since Kaka's not a big fan of sucking milk. Well since i'm a cheapskate when it comes to unnecessary expenses i often choose cheap alternative. 

My breast milk pump is not those expensive auto that cost cheapest at 200 ringgit. Mine is Pureen Manual Breast pump that i bought at 16 ringgit at Tesco. It's easy to clean and it's totally fine to use. I read some of the mom said it hurt or something using it but it's just nice for me. The trick is to find the focal point where it suits the pressure of the pump. Buy the one with the blue ball where you get to squeeze it for the pressure. That one better than the finger handle one.

For first timer mom, make sure you buy breast pump before you deliver cause sometimes your baby don't know how to suck or drink a bit only at the beginning. And your milk will make your breast really hurt if you just let it fill. Believe me i know cause i caught on fourth or fifth day after delivery cause Kaka drink very little only each time.

It's My Birthday

My dear already celebrated it for me yesterday night by cooking for me. And i got a cake as well. He said it's our anniversary cake as well since we served red velvet during our wedding lunch. 

Today my friends came to our house and again my dear cooked for them since i cannot move anywhere taking care of our baby.

Anyway my Birthday always been lovely celebrated and am so happy even with my age increase.

Raya: Food and All in Between

My first raya as a mommy. Actually felt pretty proud when everyone praise how cute my little darling is.

Most memorable when my mother in law call to wish me this year. It's so nice having another family and mom.

First day of raya sometimes makes you wish you are not a woman. All those tidy up, washing the dishes and stuff makes you really tired but contented.

Today i ate a lot. My mom do beef rendang and rendang kerang. And then go to my neighbour house to eat rendang itik. Wah so damn full until now.

Anyway early in the morning just now relatives came and friends too. It is wonderful and tummy suffering day for me..

Before Raya

Wow what a super busy day i had this few days. Seeing mom and father in law yesterday. Then my mom also came from home town. And today bring my mom for shopping. At first early in the morning around 10 something we reach wangsa maju Aeon Big cause there are a lot baju raya selling there with quite cheap. But you have to survey before buy cause some place sells cheap than the others.

Rather than buying clothes i end up buying 3 packs of my baby milk and 1 pack of diapers. And later on bought a car seat. Whew.. Really a long way today and quite jam also. It is wrong to think that people already gone back home town. The shopping complex also really full.

Rakuzen, Publika

Yesterday iftar was done at Japanese restaurant Rakuzen. Usually we go to their branch in Desa Parkcity but not this time. We don even plan to eat here actually but since we knew their food more than other patrons so we choose them.

We both took a set and some side dishes. Mine was Beef Tepanyaki set Rm38. My dear took Sushi with Mini Udon set Rm36. Like usual we ordered Agedashi tofu and Salmon maki. Our bill plus drink and tax was Rm146.

I love Rakuzen. We consider it as a quality Japanese eatery. I ordered my beef medium well done and it.s just so good. Tender and succulent.
